University of Southern Denmark
Designed by Danish Architects Henning Larsen, the University of Southern Denmark is a significant landmark in Kolding. The shape of the building and its facades create a powerful dialogue between the inner life of the building and the outside observer.
The facade is an integrated part of the building and creates a unique and varying appearance, with exposed large balconies made from Kebony Clear cladding and decking. Alongside eco-friendly Kebony wood, the building features a number of other sustainable initiatives, such as cooling by means of water from Kolding River, low-energy ventilation and solar cells.
