Kebony is natural wood – made to last

Wood has been living, growing, experiencing. A testament of time, with details and characteristics, stimulating our senses, and giving us a sense of quality of life.

A material we treat with utmost respect, and deserves to age with dignity. That’s why we invented a natural formula with no compromises, turning wood into a strong, sustainable and long  lasting part of our future. Like nature itself, our wood requires no maintenance and becomes more beautiful every year.

Kebony Character

Kebony Character products are produced from FSC™-certified Pinus Sylvestris and contain knots and untreated heartwood. They should not be further machined, or split, as untreated heartwood will be exposed. Kebony Character products can be cross-cut to length. Exposed end grain after cross-cutting must be treated with a wood preservative. Kebony woods have a deep brown color that will turn to silvergrey patina over time. The speed of this greying process depends on the intensity of exposure to sun and rain and type of application. Developed in Norway, the Kebony technology is an environmentally friendly, patented process that enhances the properties of sustainable softwood. Kebony is a low-maintenance material that does not require any additional treatment beyond normal cleaning.
