The Arctic Hideaway is nestled in the mountains of Fleinvaer, Norway. This extraordinary work of architecture attracts artists from all over the world looking to “disconnect to connect”. Kebony cladding was used for the exterior for its reliable durability in the harsh winter climate. Constructing the suspended element required significant planning for wind and weather resistance, and building a sustainable and maintenance-free structure was imperative. Kebony was also the perfect material selection because it blends seamlessly with the Norwegian landscape, bringing out a sense of natural harmony.
