Macha-Macha at Hermann Platz, Berlin brings Japanese tea culture to the heart of Germany. Designed by Carsten Kraemer, the interior of the tea room is truly Asian. In the middle of the room is a large counter made of Kebony clear with a discreet vase filled with flowering branches of wood.
Counter and Kebony indoor floor are positioned slightly canted so that the guest is visually invited into the room. Everything shines discreetly in white, brown and green to match the colours of the matcha tea. A Feng Shui Master helped shaping the room to maximize the guests' comfort and relaxation.
